Its holiday season and whether you are going away or not you will be faced with covering for colleagues, no one being available and lots of out of office auto reply’s!
But holidays are essential for everyone.
This Month: Book a break!
If you haven’t had a break or are too busy to take one now then make a point of booking some time out of the office, even if it is for a Christmas break or next year! Just put it in the diary and then everyone can work around it. No one will mind you having a holiday and the world won’t collapse without you!
Recharged batteries are essential if you are going to continue to perform at your best so make it happen! A number of people have been in touch whilst they were taking a break to fill us in on their career plans and it can be a good time to take stock and ensure that moving forwards things are going in the direction you want them to.
