What first can seem like a luxury, working from home can quickly turn into a test of the self-motivation and self-discipline skills of your teams. Some individuals find it so easy but for others we can quickly feel isolated and de-motivated.
Preferring the hustle and bustle of a busy environment, Vikki had to adjust to home working when she exited the legal profession in 2018. With ‘self-isolation and lock down’ now affecting the majority of us, even introverts are feeling the pressure.
During this interactive online workshop, Vikki shares her 7 top tips to staying on track and working effectively at home. And will help your teams to create their own action plan to thrive during this time of uncertainty.
7 top tips to StressLess during uncertain times
During these uncertain times, caused by COVID-19, our team’s mental health is forefront of our minds. A mental health issue that is already rife in law firms is burnout, which could be exacerbated further during these troubling times.
In May 2019 burnout was added to the World Health Organisations International Classification of Diseases as a syndrome caused by chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed.
The positive is, burnout is completely preventable. How? By successfully managing workplace stress, which can seem even more challenging when our teams are so remote.
During this interactive online session, Vikki shares her Top 7 Tips to Successfully Manage Workplace Stress.

These online courses and events are hosted by Clara Rose Consultancy with The StressLess coach Vikki Pratley
After many years as a practicing employment lawyer and a founding partner of a successful law firm, Vikki suffered from burnout; recently recognised by the World Health Organisation as being caused by chronic workplace stress that is not successfully managed.
Through her experience, Vikki is accustomed to high pressure situations connected to advising in disciplinary and grievance procedures, acting
for clients at Tribunal, advising Boards of Directors and C-Suite clients, working with public and private sector clients and much more. What she lacked personally was an appreciation of her mental fitness, a clear life vision and some fundamental and learnable key skills that could have kept her safe from burnout.
During her recovery, Vikki realised that such education or skills are rarely valued or taught at law school – nor in many professional sectors. Therefore, Vikki was inspired to help others to be high performers without risking burnout. So, building on her Psychology and Social Science first
degree and many years as a lawyer, she retrained as an ILM certified coach, ABNLP certified NLP practitioner, licenced practitioner of Liberating Leadership® and Pioneering Professional® and is the business owner of Skylark.
Vikki now works with professionals, through Skylark’s StressLess Clinic. From speaking or facilitating events or on a one-to-one or group basis, Vikki works with individuals and professional firms to help them successfully manage workplace stress and create sustainably high performing environments for themselves and others.
Vikki has a holistic approach to her work, always starting with the individual before equipping them with a tool-kit for success, including a mindset, key skills and, for leaders, a process.
